	Photo Exhibition: Pieces Of Africa ICELANDAIR and JPV publishers are to sponsor the launch of IceAid on September 1st 2007 with an exhibition at Art Iceland Reykjavik. Proceeds from the exhibition will be used by IceAid to fund the ongoing rehabilitation of orphanages in Liberia.
	Dilana & Magni in Iceland A music concert with Dilana from Rock Star Supernova were held in Iceland this autumn. It was an event I couldn't miss. Me, Þrándur and María Rún had been watching the Rock Star show.
	Charlotta S. Sverrisdóttir - A Symphony of Colors Charlotta S. Sverrisdóttir opened the exhibition called A Symphony of Colors in Mira-Art the 1st of October 2006. Mira-Art is located in Baejarlind 6 Kopavogur. The exhibition will be open until the end of October. A Symphony of Colors is market by the effect nature has on Charlotta.
	Energy Flow - exhibition Art-Iceland's first cooperative exhibition opened 29th of July 2006 in Mubla, Nýbýlavegi 18, Kópavogur. The artists that start are: Árni Rúnar Sverrisson, Helga Sigurðardóttir and Álfheiður Ólafsdóttir. We invite everyone to come and see the exhibition named Energy Flow (Orkuflæði).
	Heartbeat of the Living Nature Arnór G. Bieltvedt opened an exhibition in Art Iceland Gallery in Skólavörðustígur 1A. The opening was Saturday the 18th of February 2006 from 4pm - 7pm. Ólafur Grétarsson played sweet notes on the guitar to emphasize the light and living tones of the art work. The exhibition will be open until March 4th.
	Algea - The Hat Man Saturday the first of April we received a great guest from New York in our gallery. It was the multitalented Algea. In fact he came last Saturday also and it was a great success. .
	Ice Cave - Forms of Nature Wonders of nature are hard to describe. One Sunday in March we took off with a small group in a four wheeling trip on Langjokull ice-cap. We looked at ice caves that are truly impossible to describe with words. Hopefully the pictures speak for them selves.
	Halloween Skull, knife, red candles and a black cloth....Strange creatures in the mirror. That completes the sacrifice altar. Now the guests can arrive.
	María's Legacy - Gimli 2005 Exactly 130 years ago the first Icelandic settlers set foot on an unfamiliar land. They named the place "Gimli". Because of this occasion celebrations where planned in Gimli, Manitoba. We where lucky to be invited to sing some old fashioned Icelandic rhyme songs.
	New gallery art-Iceland.com opening Art-Iceland.com opened a new art gallery at Skólavörðustígur number 1a at the Reykjavik Cultural Night. We consider starting an art gallery to be a natural consequence of having an online gallery.
	Icelandic contemporary glass art Works by seven Icelandic artists that have the common element of being created in glass for the most part.
	Leifur Breiðfjörð - Spirit of Man Leifur Breiðfjörð is exhibiting what he calls "Spirit of Man" in Gerðarsafn. His theme is derived from the shape of the head, it is visible in his work in various forms.
	Caroline Swash - Conversation Caroline Swash exhibits stained glass, glass dragons and paintings in Gerðarsafn. Here below you can see a sampling of her works. Inspiration for new works come from Icelandic artifacts that are kept in museums in London.
	Gerður Helgadóttir - Master of Glass and Metal Gerður was a great glass-artist and a pioneer in that art-form in Iceland. Stained glass windows by her decorate six churches here in Iceland. Best known are the windows in the churches of Skálholt and Kópavogur.
	Helga Sigurðardóttir - Flow of Power - Land and Mountains Helga Sigurðardóttir opened an exhibition of watercolor paintings in the Saltfish museum in Grindavík at 19th of March 2005. I was on the way to Grindavík to see Helga Sigurðardóttir's exhibition. Weather being a great preparation to experience watercolor paintings.
	Ásdís Elva Pétursdóttir - Princess 101 Ásdís Elva Pétursdóttir's exhibition came as fresh surprise, like was to be expected of her. All of a sudden a screeching sound of brakes fills the air as a yellow bus stops by the Saltfish museum in the small fisher town of Grindavík.
	Álfheiður Ólafsdóttir - My Mountain Álfheiður Ólafsdóttir held an exhibition in Grindavík from 29. January until 23. February 2005. The name of the exhibition was "My Mountain".
	Magnea Ásmundsdóttir - What is beyond the horizon? Magnea Ásmundsdóttir had a happening with mixed media in the Sævar Karl Gallery. Some dosens of years ago only a handful knew what was beyond the horizon where sky and sea meet. The sky like a blue and beautiful helmet and the horizon closing in on the world.
	Reykjavík Culture Night Reykjavik Culture Night is one of the most popular events in Icelandic art life. It is estimated that at least 100 thousand people gathered together this day.
	Gay Pride Iceland Gay Pride Iceland is celebrated in Reykjavík like many other cities in the world. This years festival took place Saturday August 7th. It is estimated that a little less than 40.000 people showed up in Reykjavík centre, to celebrate with gay's and to show sympathy and support.
